Chuck Kopp

Chuck is a longtime business owner and retired Alaska police officer. He has served over 20 years at the command and supervisory levels of state, municipal, and public safety government agencies. His professional experience includes the positions of City of Kenai Acting City Manager, Kenai Chief of Police, Chief of Staff to two Alaska State Senators, elected twice to the Alaska State House of Representatives and served as House Rules Chair, Alaska Police Standards Council Chairman, and Alaska Judicial Council member.   

Chuck’s work as a major crime's investigator has received national recognition from the Department of Justice for successfully solving three homicides where the victims’ bodies were never found. The defendants were convicted of Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder. 

Chuck’s experience has given him an exceptionally strong understanding of business needs and priorities, municipal and state government operations, and the public policies necessary for businesses to thrive and government to provide necessary services. 

Chuck currently serves as the Vice President of the USS Ted Stevens Commissioning Committee, a 501c3 non-profit serving the Crew and honoring the service of US Senator Ted Stevens.
