Cherie Curry is a lifelong Alaskan, born on Elmendorf Airforce Base and spent most of her childhood growing up in Kenai.
Cherie’s professional experience as a business owner and highly skilled veteran of media management has allowed her to work in regions across the State, including Anchorage, the Kenai Peninsula, Southeast Alaska and many rural communities. This experience has allowed her to develop strong, successful relationships with leaders of all sectors.
Cherie's management and consulting career has resulted in an extensive track record of facilitating client success in public relations, marketing and advertising campaigns. Her leadership strengths include outstanding organizational management, a tireless pursuit of excellence and a deep core understanding of strategy, planning and execution.
As Managing Member of Winfluence Strategies, LLC, Cherie’s projects include client mediation and facilitation, successful political campaign management, private property rights advocacy, and media relations consulting in the public, private and non-profit sectors.
Cherie previously served on the Public Affairs Committee for the USS Anchorage (LPD 23) Commissioning from 2011 to 2013 and currently serves as the President of the USS Ted Stevens (DDG 228) Commissioning Committee, a 501c3 non-profit serving the U.S. Navy Crew and honoring the service and legacy of US Senator Ted Stevens in the Navy traditions of the ship's Keel Laying Christening and Commissioning slated for May 2026.
Cherie is a classically trained woodwind player and enjoys performing in symphonies and ensembles when time allows. She is married to Scott, has three grown children and six grandchildren.
